bySIMMED at IX CICE 2026: our simulators in the hands-on workshops.
From October 16 to 18 in Puerto Varas, Chile, our simulators will be part of the hands-on workshops at the Chilean Society of Surgeons' endoscopic surgery course, with on-site technical support from our team.
From October 16 to 18, 2026, bySIMMED will take part in the 9th International Course on Endoscopic Surgery (IX CICE), organized by the Department of Endoscopic Surgery of the Chilean Society of Surgeons at the Wyndham Puerto Varas hotel. The meeting also hosts the 3rd Southern Therapeutic Endoscopy Conference and the 6th Endoscopic Surgery Nursing Conference (VI JECE).
For the hands-on workshops on Friday the 16th, we are lending our simulators to the medical device companies running the training stations. Attendees will practice on them with real devices and instruments, and our team will be on site providing technical support for every model.
We are also involved in the organization: our Technical Director, Dr. Carlos Chávez, is a board member of the Chilean Society of Surgeons and sits on the course's scientific committee.
This year's central theme is taking advanced endoscopy and quality training beyond the major centers. It is an idea very close to ours: every team should be able to train with real clinical instruments, wherever they are.
